Kelly Clarkson Resumes Las Vegas Strip Residency After COVID-19 Delay

Kelly Clarkson is once again set to take the Las Vegas Strip by storm. The three-time Grammy Award-winning artist and 25-million-albums-sold-singer will be debuting a new, limited-run show titled “Chemistry…an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson” at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater this July and August.

The show was initially scheduled for April 2020, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Clarkson has never lost sight of the Las Vegas stage and is now making her return to the city of lights.

Clarkson rose to fame in 2002 after winning the inaugural season of “American Idol.” Since her celebrity debut, she has released nine studio albums, won numerous awards, and created countless hit singles like “Miss Independent,” “Breakaway,” Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”, and “Invincible.”

The 40-year-old artist is currently filming the fourth season of her syndicated “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and recently rejoined “The Voice” for its 23rd season. She is adamant that her career won’t be complete without a residency in Las Vegas, and can’t wait to check that career peg off her list.

“I’m so excited to create my own!” Clarkson said in a statement. “The crowds in Vegas are such an amazing collection of people that simply want to have a great time and that’s what we’re going to do!”

Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will have access to the presale for Clarkson’s Vegas shows this Wednesday, March 29th at 10 am PST. Tickets for the general public will be available on March 30th at 10 pm PST.

Clarkson will perform July 28th and 29th and August 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th. If demand exceeds the limited 10-night slate, additional dates may be added depending on Clarkson’s schedule.

The singer-songwriter’s return to Las Vegas comes shortly after fellow artist Adele announced 34 more concert dates at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, some of which will be recorded for an upcoming concert film.

Kelly Clarkson is looking forward to bringing her show back to the city of Las Vegas. She is excited to share the stage with an audience of people who simply want to have a great time, and so is everyone else!
