K-Pop sensation Blackpink will bring their highly anticipated “Born Pink” world tour to Allegiant Stadium on August 18. This announcement follows their successful performance at Coachella, which marked the first time a Korean act had ever headlined the festival. Last year, K-pop group BTS stirred the music industry by selling out four shows at Allegiant Stadium in two consecutive weekends in April, thus demonstrating K-pop’s ability to fill the void left by aging stadium performers such as the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.
Beginning on Wednesday, April 26 at 10 am PT, fans can register for a BLINK membership pre-sale (the band’s fan club name is a combination of “Black” and “Pink”). The general on-sale will start on Friday, April 28 at 10 am PT.
Reality TV star Erika Jayne, of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame, will launch her Las Vegas music residency on August 25, when she plays 11 nights over five weekends at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Morris Day & the Time, stars of the iconic movie “Purple Rain,” will be performing at the Strat on July 28 and 29, with tickets starting at $75 and available now at tickets.thestrat.com.
