Eight Arizona residents have filed a civil complaint against MGM Resorts International, the operator of New York-New York hotel and casino in Las Vegas. According to the lawsuit, these individuals were forced to undergo rabies treatments after sharing their hotel room with a live bat in April 2022.

The complaint was filed in Clark County District Court on August 10, as reported. The residents are seeking compensation for the necessary preventative measures they had to take due to the presence of the bat.

It is worth noting that MGM Resorts International is facing a $15,000 lawsuit as a result of this incident.
