PrizePicks Named Official Fantasy Sports Partner of NASCAR

On Thursday, PrizePicks announced a long-term sponsorship with NASCAR, making them the first fantasy sports operator to strike such a deal with a major US sports league. This agreement marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between the Atlanta-based company and stock car racing organization, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary.

“We are thrilled to join forces with NASCAR and honor our southern roots,” said Adam Wexler, Co-Founder & CEO of PrizePicks. “This partnership is an incredible opportunity for both our organizations to gain more traction with existing and potential fans.”

This is the third major sponsorship PrizePicks has signed in the last month, having previously partnered with Atlanta United (MLS) and the Atlanta Braves (MLB). Additionally, they have had deals with the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Marlins.

The company has seen a 400% increase in players picking NASCAR drivers in the last year. Meanwhile, the sport’s digital platform has recorded 65 million visits so far in 2021, up 7% from last year.

PrizePicks is a daily fantasy sports platform, where users pick between two and six athletes and a statistic for each of them. The goal is to predict whether their performance will be better or worse than a set benchmark. Players must include picks from at least two teams, and can win big if all their predictions are correct. It’s currently available in 30 states in the US, as well as Canada outside of Ontario.
